Through his work in the IT industry, Darko Kojić encounters stock photography on a daily basis. By purchasing photographs from foreign services, he saves time, but often also gains inspiration. When Bosnia and Herzegovina got its first photo stock, he decided to try his hand in a different role, as an author.
One of the most active authors of the Photo database, Ramiz Dedaković from Brčko, found a little time to answer our five short questions.

In order to preserve evidence or for other reasons, you can deposit the originals or copies of your copyrighted works at the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is not your obligation, nor does it represent a condition for obtaining protection. Additionally, you should know that this Institute does not have the authority to lead and process cases if someone violates your rights.

From the beginning of October to the end of February, the Foto Baza team organized gatherings with photographers in eight cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then a virtual gathering for those who could not attend in person.

We started our small tour through Bosnian cities with a gathering in Sarajevo. The founder of this platform, Vanja Stokić, and the most active author, Ajdin Kamber, talked with current and (we hope) future authors of the Photo Database. Attendees learned about the most common mistakes made when uploading photos to the Photo Database, what influences better results during searches, and which photos are currently the best sellers on this platform. They also received specific guidelines on what to photograph in Sarajevo, according to client instructions.
